Knatz Family in WWII

This memorial plaque in the church in Niedenstein lists the names of those lost from the town during World War II. Ludwig Knatz, his wife Anna and their daughter Lieselotte were killed during the Allied bombing of the City of Kassel on October 22, 1943.

The information below is on German citizens that fought for Germany during WWII. Information on those who fought for the US side will be forthcoming. This German records have been made available by Fold3 and I have screenshots of the 4 record cards in that database along with the explanation from Fold3 on how to read the index cards. At this time I have no information on how these men fit into my Knatz family.
