This section of the website covers records of Knatz family members who served in War, beginning with the Hessian soldiers who came to America to fight on the side of the British in the Revolutionary War between the colonies in America and their mother nation, England. I have been able to find only one Knatz who served in the US Civil War on the confederate side. In World War’s I and II, Knatz family members served on both sides and Knatz family members from both sides died in those conflicts.
